THIS IS CHIROPRACTIC MANIPULATION.  The trained veterinarian delivers a fast, specific, direct thrust to the facet (articulation) of the two bones that are connected by a joint.  This is done after motion palpation is performed to find and locate which bones are out of alignment (subluxated).  The ONLY  instruments used are the HANDS!
The American Veterinary Chiropractic Association supports the teaching and certification courses (over 120 hours in the course with a 2 day certification exam) and has many veterinarian and human chiropractors as members.

THIS IS NOT CHIROPRACTIC.  This is an activator device applied to somewhere on the bone.  It is spring loaded and the force delivered is based on the tension in the device.  It is not as accurate as the HAND.  This is called VOM=Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation.  The American Veterinary Chiropractic Association does not support this method.  This is a weekend course.
